A destination marked on the roadmap of lifes aspirations. The goal was always, or at least for the last four years, this. The journey, while meticulously mapped, veered off course. The scenic route if you will. A necessary detour and subtle reminder to appreciate the process so to speak.
A blank slate.
Former President and co-founder of Pixar, Ed Catmull, once stated that "[Reassembling] what has come before ... gives the illusion of creativity, but it is craft without art. Craft is what we are expected to know; art is the unexpected use of our craft."
And that resonated with us.
We saw this as an opportunity to fill a void and reimagine decorative lighting. To do something different, with intention. So, we put sustainability at the forefront, prioritizing both environmental responsibility and timeless design. This isn't just about aesthetics; it's about creating beautiful spaces that illuminate and inspire lives in a sustainable way.
We've called this "The Aesthetics of Ethics".
But dig a bit deeper and you'll see we're more than just vain. Marrying this playful soul with lighting studies and technical rigour not found elsewhere. Easy isn’t the goal. Quality is.
Words fall short expressing the necessary gratitude deserving of all our supporters over these past few months. Much has been accomplished, so so much more is yet to come. We're the new kids on the block... and we're here to stay.
